There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LDC. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Parque Hostos (5-3) to first ranked Ponton (7-1) 110-108 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Parque Hostos. Ponton dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Parque Hostos' 62. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Brayan Rosado (196-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Randy Santos (195-2000) who added 26 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Adonis Nunez (191-1996) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Parque Hostos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ponton have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Parque Hostos at the other side keep the third place with three games lost.
Fourth-ranked Puerto Plata (1-7) gave a tough game to first ranked Ponton (7-1) in La Vega. Ponton managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected easier game. The winners were led by forward Brayan Rosado (196-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Randy Santos supported him with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 20 points and 5 assists by naturalized Venezuelan Kelvin Pena (193-1980, college: Southeastern) did not help to save the game for Puerto Plata. Ponton have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Puerto Plata lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with LDC Ignite.
A very close game took place in Moca between Don Bosco and Los Rieles. Third ranked Don Bosco (2-2) got a very close home victory over bottom-ranked Los Rieles (0-4). Don Bosco managed to escape with a 3-point win 110-107 on Wednesday evening. Warlyn Disla fired 18 points for the winners. Luiyi Rojas produced 20 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Despite that victory Don Bosco went down to fourth position due to points difference. Loser Los Rieles still closes the standings with four games lost. Don Bosco will meet at home higher ranked Los Leneros in the next round. Los Rieles will play against Santiago Max and hope to get finally their first victory.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 4: LDC Ignite was destroyed by Immortals on the opponent's court 122-100. Parque Hostos managed to outperform Puerto Plata in a home game 90-85. Tamboril managed to beat Los Rieles on the road 111-100. Don Bosco lost to undefeated Jose Horacio on its own court 102-106. Tamboril beat San Sebastian in a road game 80-70.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points and 8 rebounds by Juan Valenzuela of Tamboril.



Parque Hostos - Ponton 108-110

The most exciting game of round 4 in the LDC took place in . Rather expected game in Santiago where 4th ranked LDC Ignite (1-7) was crushed by second ranked Immortals (6-2) 122-100 on Saturday. Immortals looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by LDC Ignite's players. Forward Randy Ovalle (201-2004) fired a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. point guard Jefry Arias (182-1997) chipped in 28 points and 4 assists. American guard Kylon Jarreau (185, college: Adrian) produced 23 points and guard Raul Arias-Ortega (190, college: TMU) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five Immortals and four LDC Ignite players scored in double figures. LDC Ignite's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Immortals have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-2 record having just eight point less than leader Ponton. LDC Ignite lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Puerto Plata.
